Dear Vendor

We are sorry but effective immediately, all unsolicited requests for detailed customer feedback on any aspect of our online, mail, telephone or in-person interactions are now treated as spam.

You may assume that if any specific interaction was less than fully satisfactory, you would be hearing from us in a non-public letter, e-mail or phone call.

Our time is so extremely valuable, and we view any attempt to further contact us to gather information in order to refine your practices as an attempt to steal time from us. In short, we’re treating it as attempted theft.

Fortunately, our spam traps have been trained to cull such solicitations into our e-mail spam folder.

We want you to know this about us: We rarely leave feedback of any kind.

We leave positive online feedback only in cases where the level of service is truly exceptional, or the product is such unusually high quality that we feel others in our circle of friends and family might benefit from knowing about it.

We do not leave public negative feedback unless we can demonstrate that your business has shown bad-faith in some specific way, such as delivering counterfeit products, not honoring warranties stated as part of the transaction, or delivering substitute or broken products and not promptly replacing them. Even then, unless the problem is beyond a certain level of annoyance and cost, we don’t bother.

That said, should you wish to discuss any aspect of our business interaction at some length, with the object of gaining actual insights to further your interests, that option is available to you at our standard billing rate $250/hour, 1 hour minimum.

Feel free to contact us directly on that basis. Depending on when the interaction occurred, we may be able to provide you with a detailed analysis, including our perceived reasons for the choices we made, detailed discussion of the user interaction on your web site or phone line, as well as a list of some of the alternatives considered before selecting you as a vendor. We will assume you are satisfied with the results provided unless you specifically inform us otherwise. There will be no refunds, but we may at our discretion and to the extent we are able, provide additional material that may better serve your needs.
